Bo Bendsneyder dominated the 2015 Red Bull Rookies Cup, taking eight wins, two additional podiums and the Championship. The Dutch rider had first shown promise when he won the second Red Bull Rookies Cup race in Assen in 2014, his debut in the series. Alongside his Rookies Cup duties in 2014, he also participated in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship, with a best finish of third in Le Mans and scoring points in every round he entered. As with many Rookies Cup champions, his victory awarded him a seat in the World Championship with the Red Bull KTM Ajo team in 2016. Rookie podiums and some impressive performances saw Bendsneyder heading into 2017 with the same team, and the tall Dutchman then moved up to Moto2™ for 2018 with Tech 3 Racing on the Mistral. His year would be cut short after a freak accident at the Japanese GP meant Bendsneyder would miss the last three rounds of the season. For 2019 he moved on to the NTS RW Racing GP, and finished 26th in the standings while the following season saw a few point scoring finishes. In 2021 the Dutchman moved to Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team, and he became a regular top 10 threat, with a P5 finish at the French GP a career best result. Bendsneyder managed to crack the top 5 once again in 2022, at his home GP in Assen, as he continued to develop at this level. Despite securing his first Moto2™ podium in Austin, the '64' would face a challenging season in 2023 and will look to perform better in 2024.
