The Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia recently hosted a test for many of the season’s top Moto3™ contenders – including Romano Fenati (Marinelli Rivacold Snipers), Enea Bastianini (Estrella Galicia 0,0) and the Red Bull KTM Ajo duo of Bo Bendsneyder and new teammate Niccolo Antonelli – as engines fired up for the first time in 2017. And it was Bendsneyder, who enters his second year in Moto3™ this season, who topped the timesheets.
Bo Bendsneyder: “It was really good – like a shakedown test. In the end we had a small crash but my mechanics prepared the bike really quickly and we could do the last ten minutes of the session. In the end it was quite good and I set a good laptime so I’m really happy with the first test.”

After an impressive first year including a first Moto3™ podium in 2016, the former Red Bull Rookies Cup winner is now hoping to convert that into more in 2017. So what’s the goal for the season ahead?
BB64: “It’s difficult to say now because there are some new riders in the Championship but we’ll see after two tests - then we can say a little bit more. But of course I want to fight for the top ten and, I hope, for the podium.”
