Born in Valencia, Hector Garzo's first major campaign was in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship in 2016, but the following season the Spaniard switched up to the Moto2™ European Championship. 2017 was an impressive season as Garzo took four podiums and came fourth overall after proving a consistent frontrunner. He also made his first Grand Prix appearance in the German Grand Prix as he was called up as a replacement rider for the Tech 3 team in Moto2™, qualifying in an incredible P5 before then unfortunately crashing out of contention. 2018 saw Garzo remain in the Moto2™ European Championship and the Valencian took his first win at Albacete, was a consistent threat once again and ended the season third overall. He also made three Moto2™ appearances at Jerez, Le Mans and Mugello. The French team chose to continue its link with the Spaniard in 2019, this time as part of the new FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup at Tech3 E-Racing, where he achieved three podiums and finished 4th overall in the Championship. He also competed in the Moto2™ European Championship, finishing 2nd overall. For 2020 he received his reward with the opportunity to become a regular in the Moto2™ World Championship with Pons Racing (FlexBox HP 40), achieving a valuable second place finish at the Valencia GP. 2021 proved a more trying season for the Spaniard as he recorded more DNFs than he did point scoring finishes and 2022 saw him move into MotoE™ with Tech3 as he tried his hand in the electric class. After a best of P4 and an eighth overall finish, Garzo joins Dynavolt Intact GP MotoE for 2023. The French team chose to continue its link with the Spaniard in 2019, this time as part of the new FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup at Tech3 E-Racing, where he achieved three podiums and finished 4th overall in the Championship. In 2021 he will seek to continue that late season form and be in the hunt for more podiums!
