Storia del pilota

Stefano Nepa has made a name for himself in Italy, through categories like the CIV pre-Moto3 series, which he would go on to win in 2014. In 2016, he then tackled CIV's Moto3™ Championship and combined it with the Junior Moto3™ World Championship for two seasons. In 2018, he took fifth place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and had his first taste of Grand Prix racing during a wildcard at the Italian GP, before being called in as a substitute rider by the CIP Green Power team after Makar Yurchenko's departure. In Valencia, he scored his first points but he was without a World Championship ride for 2019 so entered the Junior World Championship again with the Reale Avinita Junior team. He would replace Vicente Perez in the Reale Avintia World Championship squad halfway through the year and battled to two top ten finishes. Nepa was rewarded with his first full season in the Moto3™ World Championship with the Apsar Team in 2020, partnering eventual World Champion Albert Arenas. Three top ten finishes helped him to 20th in the standings. In 2021, he moved to the BOE Motorsport squad and was once again a regular points finisher, claiming 18th in the Championship. 2022 saw him join Team MTA on KTM machinery, with Nepa enjoying five top 10 finishes. His season ended with a nasty leg injury sustained at the Malaysian GP. 2023 showed a slight improvement as he finished 12th, but more is expected from the Italian rider in 2024.
