2021 FIM CEV Superstock 600 European Champion Alex Escrig joins the Moto2™ class for the 2023 campaign. The Spaniard will be a familiar name to fans who follow all categories on the World Championship circuit, having competed in MotoE™ during 2022. Some impressive performance in the electric class did enough to convince MV Agusta to take a chance on the Valencia native, though his debut campaign is marked by injuries and replacements. In total, Escrig only participated in eight Grand Prix races and only scored points in Malaysia. The #17 hopes for better results in 2024, still with Forward.
