Joel Kelso (CFMoto Racing PruestelGP) has toppled the heavy hitters at the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana after an impressive Practice 3 performance. The Aussie put down a 1:38.569 to top the timesheets on the combined timings. Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) was the closest to Kelso after he put in a series of fast laps at the end of the session to knock eight-tenths off his Friday practice time. Daniel Holgado (Red Bull KTM Tech3) has looked strong from the off after topping both sessions on Friday. The Spaniard did improve by a tenth on Saturday morning and sits in P3 with a 0.100s gap to P1.

Behind the top three, there was a manic battle to grab a spot in the top 14, and an all-important place in Qualifying 2. Vicente Perez (BOE Motorsports) has looked strong from the off and joined the 1:38 club on Saturday morning after finding over half a second to bag P4. Just up behind the Spaniard was Ryusei Yamanaka (GASGAS Aspar Team) who has also taken well to the Circuit Ricardo Tormo and rounded out the top five.
Fillipo Farioli (Red Bull KTM Tech3) bagged himself a Q2 spot after a strong showing in Practice 3. The Italian took 6th place in the end ahead of Ivan Ortola (Angeluss MTA Team) who also enjoyed a positive P3 session. Next up was David Muñoz (BOE Motorsports) in 8th who got the better of Diogo Moreira (MT Helmets - MSI) and Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo) who rounded out the top 10.
