Zonta Van Den Goorbergh made his racing debut in 2019. That year he scored points in all rounds of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, where he finished 13th overall. At the same time, he also competed in several rounds of the European Talent Cup, with a seventh place at MotorLand as his best result. The Dutchman continued to participate in both programmes in 2020. He finished 8th in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup and 2nd in the ETC with four wins and one podium. The 2021 season was spent in the Moto3 Junior World Championship, where he finished 17th, with two top 10s in Jerez and Misano. In 2022, he was handed his opportunity to ride in the Moto2™ class with RW Racing GP, performing well on a number of occasions but failing to register any points. The Dutch rider would accumulate 17 points in the 2023 season, thanks to notable performances, including top 10 finishes in India and Japan. Will he aim even higher for 2024?
