Inde Aspar Team Moto2’s Aron Canet has undergone successful surgery on an open fracture-dislocation of the two interphalangeal joints of the fifth finger of the left hand, sustained in a Warm Up crash at the SHARK Helmets Grand Prix de France.
Dr. Mir has operated Canet on an open fracture-dislocation of the two interphalangeal joints of the fifth finger of the left hand.

Bone fixation and a vascularized skin graft have been practiced using microsurgical techniques.

The incident occurred coming down the hill through Turn 5 and into Turn 6 at Le Mans, with Canet missing the Moto2™ race as a result. Since, the intermediate class rookie sensation has been operated on by Dr Mir, bone fixation and a vascularized skin graft have been practised using microsurgical techniques.
On Monday, the Aspar team confirmed Canet will remain in hospital for 48 hours.
